My Top Issues

Taxes / Budget

Maintain a stable property tax rate. I believe we can build a more prosperous future while keeping taxes steady.

Housing

Build more affordable workforce housing. We need housing that allows our teachers, first responders, and the next generation of South Berwick residents to continue to live in our community.

Environment / Energy

Balance economic and housing growth with environmental resource conservation and historic preservation.

Economy

A laser-beam focus on revitalizing downtown South Berwick. We need to bring in new businesses that increase our tax base, while highlighting and preserving the history, culture, and traditions that make downtown unique.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Implement the downtown traffic improvement plan using thoughtful design and maximum opportunities for public input.

Housing

Adopt many of the recommendations outlined in the Comprehensive Plan - particularly those that deal with housing density, conserving our rural areas, and streamlining our development approval process.

Government Reform

Improve how town government communicates with our residents. We need new avenues for citizen input and new approaches for sharing information with residents.
