Must have been a resident of Garden City for a period of 1 year immediately prior to the date of the election. Must reside in Garden City during his or her period of service. Must be registered and qualified to vote in Chatham County elections, and qualified as required by law to vote in municipal elections in Garden City. Must meet the qualifications required of a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, as are now or may in the future be prescribed by the Constitution of Georgia: Must be a citizen of the United States, at least 21 years of agea, and ac itizen of Georgia for at least two years.
