Must be at least 21 years of age, must be a citizen of the U.S., must be a resident of the State of Georgia for at least two years, must be a resident of the City of Woodstock in the ward in which they are qualifying for one year, and must be a registered voter. Candidate must never have been convicted and sentenced for fraudulent violation of election laws; malfeasance in office; or felony involving moral turpitude or conviction of domestic violence under the laws of this State or any other State of the United States, or that the candidate’s civil rights have been restored and at least ten years have elapsed from the date of completion of the sentence without a subsequent conviction of another felony involving moral turpitude.
